SUBJECT: Outreach Program:  Building a Bridge between Patients and the Medical Community

Making informed decisions about our health requires knowledge from reliable sources in an easy to understand format.

Therefore, as a social contribution to the Athens community, the Department of Pharmacology at the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is organizing such an educational program where tailor made medical/pharmaceutical information will be provided to the public.

 We are pleased to announce the pilot session entitled:

“Introduction to Medications”

  • Quality, Safety and Side-effects
  • Name Brands Versus Generics

The session is free. It will take place in the lecture hall of the Department of Pharmacology at the Medical School of Athens University.

Presentation language: English and English/Greek (during question period)

The duration will be for approximately one hour followed by a question period.
